Golf Monthly Verdict

It really did Glide “Eze”, from start to finish. Popping up with a one button and folding down in a similarly simple manner, it won us over. It is lightweight, which makes pushing uphills a breeze, but has also proven to be robust and reliable. Plenty of storage options on the handle too.

Eze Glide Smart Fold Push Trolley Review

The Eze Glide Smart Fold Trolley instantly becomes one of the best push carts we've tested this year in terms of value. We found it to be easily manoeuvrable about the course it could be easily pushed one handed around corners and up hills. This trolley boasts a broad scorecard holder, dry space for valuables and equipment, an umbrella holder and two wheel covers as standard, which kept our car tidy and clean when mud gathered on the trolley.

The Eze Glide does exactly that, glides easily around the course.

Thanks to the 7.2kg lightweight durable aluminium frame it felt easy lifting in and out of the car, perhaps also one of the reasons it literally “glides” along the course. We cannot emphasise enough how manoeuvrable this is. The red footbrake jumps out at you so you aren’t hunting for it for too long, with an easy push down and pull up with the toe of your shoe you can stop and go quickly when you need to. We loved the adjustable handle which means we could customise the height of the trolley and made for a much more comfortable pushing position.

The equal adjustable bag brackets really passed our test with flying colors. This trolley houses a slender carry bag just as well as a more hefty tour bag. The arms fold around the bag and the elasticated bungees secure it in place with no wiggling about. This makes for an extremely versatile bit of kit and the fact it sinks down into a neat package (31" x 16" x 15.6”) so it doesn’t take up room in your car or your cupboard at home.

It's also a stylish design, the white is especially eye catching, up there with the new PowaKaddy DLX Lite FF model in terms of looks, and the finish is very durable (it comes with a one year warranty). A huge benefit is the saving you'll make not charging up batteries - this feels almost as easy as using an electric trolley. We think once you’ve experienced the Eze Glide you are likely not to go back to a battery-powered trolley, though if you need maximum assistance then do check out our guide on the best electric trolleys for information on the latest models.
